Craft Fair Bingo for Bored Partners

Surviving and Thriving at a Craft Fair

Bored husbands, spouses, kids, and partners now have a way to pass the time at craft fairs.

‘Tis the Craft Fair Season! (That may be true all year.) Many of us are caught in the situation of wanting to be present, attentive partners who spend time with our significant, craft-show-loving, others. While we really… really… do not actually want to go to craft shows.

How to survive a craft fair

Fear not. In order to make your personal craft show experience a bit more palatable, it’s possible all you need is a mission–besides holding bags and personal items while someone else goes to the bathroom.

You need to hunt. You need to be mentally stimulated. You need clearly defined objectives and a reason to peak your head into one craft-laden booth after another.

This craft show bingo card will certainly help you pass the time while on a mission. So print this out, bring it along as you tag along… and pay some freakin’ attention to what your partner is in to–you might get some gift ideas out of this experience.

Hey! If you get BINGO, shoot me an email: ryan@thebadpod.com. There will be a little reward for your efforts!

Ryan Dunn has a bunch of certificates on his desk. A few are awards for content production and marketing. Another marks his ordination as a minister. One says he’s earned a BA in English from the University of Iowa. The certificate next to that says he earned an MA in Christian Practice from Duke (with honors!). Ryan is most proud, though, of the things he’s created: The Compass Podcast, some deep content on RethinkChurch.org, a series of practical spiritual advice videos, a long-lasting marriage, and fantastic little boy. (He enjoyed A LOT of help on all of those projects, especially the last two.)
